Hey Jim, I know you have been installing and building car audio/ video systems for quite some time now and i was wondering about your certification. i just got hired as an installer for my favorite local car audio shop and wondered about the tests or classes you took to get where you are now. Specifically the MECP certifications. The guy who interviewed me for the job said that he attempted the fourth test. and thats all he said. he also told me he has been installing for 10 years so that had to be a damn hard test. Are you still posting on the thirdgen.org forums? i havent been there in a while as i havent had my 3rd gen for a while. in case your wondering my name there was 85ws6TA if that rings a bell. we had a few conversations, and it was basically the basis for my car ausio knowledge. thanks in advance. :seeya
