The HU's in, amps are in, eq's in, all that left is the door speakers. Do I use the same plastic door inserts, or do I need to get new ones or is there another way to do it? Their 5 1/4 coaxials. Thanks

Re: And now the door speakers. (reyderz86)
Use the Bose speaker cabinets in the doors. Just make a "Blank off" plate with MDF, HDP or plastic or fiberglass, that you can drill your 5 inch hole in. make sure that your black off plate fits tight and is sealed to the cabinet and to the speaker.

Re: And now the door speakers. (reyderz86)
Actually, depending on the brand of speaker, a 5¼” speaker will fit using the stock Blose pod after cutting a tad bit off around the opening. Most 5¼” coaxial speakers aren’t too deep. Anything larger however, and you will have to extend the speaker into the cabin with a baffle.
Their polk audio ex502a's, i just honed the holes out a little, but now I'm having a hard time gettin the speaker wires from the dash into the doors. Is there a trick to this. Thanks.
No trick. Just remove the under dash kick panels (by your feet) and thread the wire through, following the old Bose wire. It might be difficult if you haven't moved the Bose speaker boxes out of the way. Once you move those, the wire should poke through and you can grab it and pull it the rest of the way. It'll take some time, but isn't too hard. Have fun.

:yesnod: Just fish them through, drill a hole in side of Blose pod, pull the wire(s) through, seal around hole with caulk or sound dampening sheet, hook up speakers, turn on HU, crank up volume and jam accordingly. :D
I'm having the EXACT same problem with my Pioneer 5 1/4 inch speakers. They are too tall and won't fit into the bose space without hitting the carpeted speaker cover (which will break the speaker over time, as it's kicked and such)
Bradley3, your problem is similar but different. You have a different interior than reyderz86 and the speakers are in different locations, doors vs. frame rails. reyderz86 should follow the above directions to make them fit. I posted on your other post what needs to be done for your setup.
