Default Gutting the C6 Bose system

Getting ready to gut the whole system and change it all out. I will be removing the entire interior just to make it easier and allow me to really clean it since I just bought it a few months ago.
Before I run any wires I am still playing with mounting the amp in the back or under the seat as I have been told it might fit. I will have to check the dimensions.
Does anyone have any pictures of how they ran the wires to their door speakers when installing a full system? Also how did you run the power from the battery to the amp?
I'm a visual guy so if you have pics that would be awesome. Thanks.

Speaker wires to door is easy. Pull down the plastic cover above feet (with light on it) and reach up to where the accordian would be if there wasn't a wall there. You'll feel a 3"x5" plastic insert that just pops out. Same on both sides.

There isn't much room under the seats if you have the memory option.

Run RCA's up the middle, on the floor under the carpet. Run power wires up the outside, under the door sill. It's OK for RCA and power to cross, but don't run them parallel or on top of each other.

On the passenger side firewall behind the battery is a grommet. Its a direct line to the inside. That's where I ran mine to. Took out the battery and it fit just great through there with only a small hole needed to feed from the back to the front. Small hole made it still water tight..

Did the same to mine. I did what Mark suggested. Have a Z07 so battery in back and ran line direct back to the cubby. Gnd is right there on the b pillar on passenger side. AMP mounted behind passenger seat on 1/2 mdf.. Ran gnd loop to prevent any noise

You have the answers I was nervous about the door speakers myself when I did this 6 months ago; as I've dealt with some cars that were a real PITA. This one really is pretty simple as already stated. I drilled a hole behind the battery into the passenger foot well for the power lead and installed my own grommet. maybe I should have looked for a factory grommet first... Also, ground locations made me nervous but found very convenient factory grounds (after searching this forum) behind the trim in the door jambs/b pillars. I mounted an amp behind each seat. Good luck with the install!
