C5Z Audio upgrade questions
'04 Z06, in a month or so I'm ripping out the interior and laying down a heat and sound insulation kit I bought 2yrs ago. I'm replacing the stock Bose speakers with Infinity Reference units in the doors and behind me (plug and play cept maybe the mounting) and I want to add a 10" Sub and Amplifier in the trunk.
Since I'm keeping the stock Bose radio (this year) what do I need to connect a Sub amp to it and kill the door subs? I didn't see anything on that in the C5 Faq...

you will need to amp the front speakers as well as you can not replace the entire door sub setup with aftermarket and run off stock head unit(unless your swapping the 3.5 in doors only then your fine

I bought 3.5 for the front, 5.5 for the rear. That's the only speakers I was planning on replacing, though like mentioned above I want to kill the door subs and add a sub in the trunk.
