Can someone post a picture of exactly where to drill the hole on the firewall of a Base C6 to install the power wire for an amp? Thanks

This entire thread was immensely helpful for my stereo install.

has a better view of where to drill.

I wish I had taken more photos of my install, but alas, I was in a hurry to get it done and really only got pictures of the finished product.

The links to the best pictures detailed don't work anymore. Any chance you have any details on where to drill through?

I drilled a 3/4" hole just above the dead pedal on the drivers side. The hole is just below the Brake booster. I used a curved coat hangar with the wires attached (electrical tape) to fish it out to the engine bay.

I was running wiring from my front facing camera for parking.

Once the wires ran through the hole, I sealed it with duct putty sealing material to keep any moisture out. Works like a charm.

No need to drill SMH. I hate adding any holes. Remove battery, run through stock rubber grommet below and behind battery, and re-tape.
