Default BOSE amp bypass for 2007 z06

I've read everything I can find in the FAQ and beyond - but am looking for an easy way to remove the factory BOSE amp and possibly the os2cbose now that i've eliminated onstar (module, antenna, etc), and don't care for the chime anyway.

Is there a bypass plug available for the amp? Perhaps a way to jump the plug like I did for the onstar module? Looking to do as little damage to the OEM harnesses as possible.

Is there anything the os2c does if I'm not using onstar/and don't need the low level in to the OEM amp?

Thanks in advance!

It gives you rap power. Unless you have an aftermarket amp to drive speakers I do not recommend bypassing oem amp

If you use switched power from fuse box and don't mind losing the chimes you can eliminate the os2c completely, but you'd need to have an aftermarket amp and speakers/sub to make it sound good.

If you're keeping the oem speakers, just use oem amp

Thanks for responses - I failed to mention I have polk components with crossovers up front (coax in back) I'd like to drive off the pioneer and a 10" sub/amp in the back...

Pardon my ignorance - what is RAP power?

Retained Accessory Power is what keeps the radio on until you open a door. Pure switched power would be on with acc/ignition and off when your turned off motor.

I haven't seen a radio yet with an internal amp powerful enough to make 6.5" components sound like they should, you really need an aftermarket amp for them. Have you bought the sub amp yet?

Ok - if I keep the bose amp is it cool to drive both the 6.5 and the tweeter off the twiddler signal coming from the amp? (plugs on the door panels)

NO

You would probably barely be able to hear the components if you hooked them up to the stock twiddler wires coming from the stock amp.

What is currently installed in the car (list ALL speakers, amps, etc...)
