I have a C6 06 Auto..... Just installed a new system in the car and want to make sure I have a good battery in the car... I have a feeling it still has the original battery in the car now...
Just added a JL XD7005v 5 channel amp with a Stealthbox and jl door components and and jl c2 in the halo area.....
What battery would you recommend.... ? ? ? I was thinking an interstate ......suggestions...

Optima Yellow Top was specifically designed for "high-demand electronics and audio systems" but I did a search on Optima's website and they don't list a yellow top for the corvette for your year. Odd.
I don't think you can go wrong with a higher output alternator either, but regardless of what you get take it from me should you play the radio without the car running for an extended period of time, put a battery maintainer on it, when i first put in my system i drained the battery while fine tuning the amp adjustments.
If you're going to regularly spend hours with the engine off and the radio playing, then a deep-cycle battery like the yellow top is a good idea. If you're only planning to listen to tunes while you drive, then any 'normal' battery is fine. FWIW, my current choice for batteries is the Sears Platinum AGM

The Optima Yellow Top D34/78 will work just fine in your C6. I have used it in several of mine. I like the additional places for adding side post mounts. It allows for all sorts of aftermarket wiring.
