2007 C6 Stereo Installation
So I'm tearing into the dash for installation of my new-ish Kenwood head unit. I've got a 2007 and the clockspring connector has 7 wires. I'm assuming that means it will support steering wheel controls as there aren't multiple circuits in a steering wheel without controls. However, I purchased an '11 steering wheel with controls and I'm not sure if its apples to apples. The schematic leads me to believe that there are only two wires associated with the right side switches and an array of resistor values associated with each button. Anyone know if those resistance values are consistent from 2007 to 2011?

I'm 99% sure that if you don't currently have steering wheel radio coontrols, then you need to change the clockspring to add them. If you're going from radio buttons only to radio + BT buttons, then the existing wires are fine, but you might have an issue with plug compatability.
Resistance values are all the same across C6 years.
