Default need c5 system help!

I am currently trying to install the following items in my 01 coupe

ddx492
arc xdi components
arc 6.5 rears
kenwood 900,5 amp on the rear wall (tail lights)
kenwood 10" sub
pyle rear view camera
sat radio

it has been a very slow process up to this point and I am now kind of stuck. I have the following questions that I need some clarification on

1) I spoke with dd mods and was told I only needed to use 2 wires on the factory harness to connect to the head unit (black+yellow). the hu harness has an orange wire for illumination. does this need hooked up?

2)I ran my power+ ground for the camera to the front of the car. can I hook this to the acc pigtail on the pass side? also can I get the reverse trigger from the footwell and if so where?

3) is it better to under power or slightly over power component speakers? I am going to run the rear speakers off the hu so I can bridge the amp if it's a good idea. bridged would be 150rms and the speakers are 120rms I believe. without bridging it would be 75rms I believe. what is better?

4) if it's better to bridge it how do I do that? the manual shows how to wire it but do I run both sets of speakers off the front channel or do I run 1 off each (front and rear)?

5) I ran all 3 sets of rca's to the back. does it hurt the amp to have the rear channel rca's plugged in if you aren't using them?

6) can I ground the green wire from the kenwood hu (parking brake) ?

I think that's it for now but I'm sure I'll have more questions later. lol. I have a new found respect for stereo installers

The illumination wire won't work, you can get illumination from the hvac controls, it's a grey wire I believe but it's listed in c5 FAQ and it's been a while so i can't remember for sure

Yes you can hook it up to pigtail in footwell make sure you hook it to accessory power and not constant. You will also need to hook ignition power for your radio up at the accessory pigtail

Easiest way to trigger camera is at reverse lights at back of car, also run trigger wire from your head unit back there, on a c5 getting reverse up front is nothing short of a cluster f

In my opinion don't bridge, you will have plenty of power and I'm not a fan of running nice speakers off of head unit power. Can always change it later

Ground the green wire for parking break

Thanks for the response. So I should run all speakers off the amp? I was under the impression that the reads would be "too much" and were only for fill

Also do I tap into the actual reverse lights at the back of the car?

Connect all 4 to amp, you'll have plenty of power to the fronts unbridged and can always turn down the gain for rears.

Yes. IIRC green is + and black is -

You don't NEED it, but it is pretty nice to have the screen change at night, and you'll already have the dash apart. Wire info is HERE

just wanted to update and say thanks to Penta, Mark, and Dennis at DD for the help. I finally sorted through my issues and put power to the system. All checked out well , now I just need to set the gains and filters I guess. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I pretty excited seeing as this was my first( and probably only) attempt at a stereo install. thanks again
