Power for C5 Bose replacement head unit?
I have searched and read looking for the wire that controls the switched power on for my new head unit. I have read several good posts here. I have seen the antenna control; I know where the switched power is under the passenger compartment. I ran separate power and grounds off the battery already. I checked all the leads out of the stock harness. I want to use the time delay and window valet to leave the stereo on. I need to understand what powered up the stock head unit. Thanks for the help.

FWIW, I don't think you'll be able to use the retained curtousy power function. Most of us just get a switched power from another location. I picked it up near the ignition key switch.
