Radio Static?

Radio Static?

4 months ago I purchased my 05 roadster. I noticed my radio reception sucks! Any idea's? I'm thinking, either the head unit is screwed or the antenna is unplugged? Sometimes, I shut the car off and the screen moves down as if I am loading a CD and stays there? When I turn the car back on, I have to push the button to have the screen sit flush again? Any thoughts??

I too have an 05 and the radio is the only disappointment. There is a firmware fix you can apply by it didn't do me any good. Radio is junk but CD player and nav is great

The radio modules and antennas are in the trunk behind the rear most vertical carpet. You can try pulling the carpet down to make sure everything is still plugged in.

But then again $500 for radio or $500 for wheels?
