Did anyone see the NOS bottle that is really a Bazooka bass tube? I'm undecided on it...looks like they are after the Rice market but I kinda like the idea. I believe I saw this in Cruthfields catalog. A poor looking picture can be found here: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-pMznLEk....asp?i=204NOS8
Ron, I realize that Harrisburg/York/Lancaster is a mecca for the rice crowd, so perhaps you are under some undue influence. If you want NO2, buy a nitrous kit. If you want bass, buy a GOOD amp and sub. Hell, buy both, just don't buy that thing.
Trust me, if I were to put a system into my Vette - it'd be a steath box all the way. I have a very close friend that owns No Limit Audio that has been dying to hook me up with a system but I keep putting it off (now looking for a C5 at Carlisle next weekend) so thats first and formost.
As for the Central PA area being a haven for Ricers - you got that right. Most of pretty cool but some can be PIA's. Seems like when the wife drives the Vette (about 3-4x a year) - she always gets edged to run but they never try to take me on
This is only my personal opinion but.......... I would stick with a custom built enclosure made out of MDF. Those SAS bottles are a neat idea but would not be fit for a Corvette in the looks department.
