Recently decided I'm going tom modernize a bit. Apparently the guy before me wired up an amp into the car and some newer speakers but no aftermarket radio. I hate dealing with other peoples mess of wires! I pulled forward my gauge bezel and I see two yellow wires coming out of the middle and then a wiring harness with 3 wires coming out of it towards the drivers side of the stock radio (cant quite tell but 1 looks red, 1 black and I cant tell the other)
Am i supposed to merge those two yellow wires and connect it to my battery wire on my new deck? Is the third unknown wire the illumination grey wire?
The traditional colors are yellow for B+, red for switched, and black for ground. If you replace the radio that's where I'd start, but use a meter before connecting anything to verify all of that.
