Double Din Bezel Modifications - A Warning
I just wanted to let everyone know that not all Double Din radios are, in fact, the same size. Evidently the Android head unit I picked up is not the same size as the Pioneers, Alpines, etc, because it uses European DIN specs vs. our American wackiness. When I sent in my bezel to Dennis for modification, I didn't inform him that I was using an Android head unit and he built my bezel with the smaller American opening.
Dennis is taking care of me on it despite that it's my fault, so
to him for that. I'm still out shipping costs to send it back to him, and I sent him the radio as well for proper fitment so I'm stuck listening to my phone's speaker for a couple weeks.
Anyways, just wanted to put this out there since it bit me. Hopefully the next guy sees this first. And thanks again Dennis!
