C5 Power Wire Through Firewall
I could not find any images of this before, so I took some when I did my install.
First you go to the engine compartment and remove the battery.
Then take the tape off the rubber grommet that has the big bundle of wires.
Go to the passenger compartment, remove the foot well cover and the cover below the glove box.
Then just push the power wire through. Mine would not go all the way through, it stopped about 1/4 inch from the opening. So I took some needle nose plyers and grabbed the wire and pulled it through.
Then retape the gromment in the engine compartment.
The is the view in the passenger foot compartment. Notice the red power wire.

My radio stations were fine. But the radio was locked. If you don't know the code to unlock it, check the tech tips and there are instructions.
Only thing that had to be reset was time.....
