Awesome experience with Double D Mods
Anyone considering doing business with Dennis @ Double D, what are you waiting on? My wife and I drove to Hazel Green to his shop (which is spotless). Met Dennis and went over what I wanted as far as electronics in my 06 roadster. Dennis then drove us to the Desoto House in Galena Illinois and dropped us off for the night. We had a great time shopping and dining in this historic town. Dennis picked us up the morning and we returned to his shop, which is 6 miles away. In his shop sat my car, clean and complete. (It was actually cleaner than when I left my home in Racine.) The installation was flawless, and Dennis took the time to educate me on the product. As far as price, every car or job will be different. Lets just say it was half of what the big box store or local stereo shop quoted. If you were on the fence, pick up the phone and make the call......

I've gotta say the same. I live too far to travel to Wisconsin, so I bought the speakers from Dennis and he shipped to Dave Hale, an installer that he uses. Everything went perfectly and the system sounds great! Couldn't ask for more.

I'm glad I saw this - I've been exploring all the things involved in upgrading from factory systems, and my head was spinning!
Based on your recommendations, I've sent Dennis a request for a system for my daily driver (2010 Malibu).
If that works out, then maybe one day I'll be able to upgrade the factory nav system in the Vette!
