I have a 2008 with bose and onstar. Looking to install a new hu without nav. I have found that pac offers several adapters that are shown to work with this car. Pac offers the pac RP5-GM11, pac GM31 and pac OS-2c with the SWI-Rc for steering wheel control. All 3 of these set-ups are described to work, but which is the best option?
Same setup in 08 bose and onstar and going with the Excelon 9902s hu. I just picked up parts from my buddy (an owner/installer). Here's what he gave me....
-axxess integrate retain on star GMOS-04
-axxess integrate steering wheel control ASWC-1
-PAC LC-1 which is a dash mounted subwoofer level control. A must have in my book. It goes between HU and RCAs going to the sub input.
Thanks for that info. I was close on what I had on the list. Are you keeping the factory Bose? I was looking at the Maestro ADS-MSW for the steering wheel control for the ability to set multi uses for each button.
