C6 CD player
Hello out there.
I have a question I can't seem to get answered.
My 2012 GS has navi and a single disc player. A ton of pictures i see of steering wheels have that 1-6 button on the right side, indicating a 6 disc changer.
How did a car get a single disc changer or a 6 disc changer. My car is an earlier 2012, about the 2200th vette made in 2012 and is a 3LT + car.
This all came about because I was wanting to upgrade my steering wheel to a suede wheel but now I'm confused, i'd like keep everything functional but can't find a wheel w/o the 1-6 function.
Any help is appreciated.

Only the non-Nav units have the 6 CD changer (as part of the radio, not in the trunk). All Nav radios are just a single CD.
I thought the 1-6 button cycled thru the radio presets on Nav units, and even when on AM/FM with the 6 CD changer radios.
