I have searched the forum and cannot find the correct procedure with making a mp3 CD with iTunes on a macbook pro.
I have made many mp3 cd's for other vehicles but the on in my C6 is not playing correctly.
I have made the names of the files smaller, and I have burned Cd's after I have arranged the playlist by
artist
album
etc.....
I got it to play 12 songs from a mp3 cd with 60 songs on it, but the titles are wrong.
I know I am missing a step somewhere, but I can't figure it out.
I always go into Properties of an MP3, then make sure title has nothing but letters, no underscore markings etc. I give each MP3 a numerical reference, which can be used later to help make a list on the CD.
I always use a good quality CD-R (Verbatim is my favorite) but I've also had success with Memorex as well. Some of the others have caused grief and inconsistent playing, skipping etc.
I use Nero Burning ROM /Nero Express for burning my MP3's to CD's with using the default settings of the program.
I only burn the MP3's as a DATA CD.
This method has always worked for my 2006 Corvette Nav Radio unit, but the same method does not work in the Pontiac G6.
Nero Express is a free download program.
Good Luck
Hopefully you will find a method that works as well for you.
