The interface adapter should have a wire harness with loose wires on it. Connect those wires to the loose wires of the radio. Pretty much color matching, just verify that with the instructions.

Connect the wires in the circles to each other.

I'm not sure what's going on with the plugs on the end of the radio wires, you may need to cut them off if they are the speaker output wires.

Look at the instructions for both the OS2X and the HU.

At a minimum, the OS2X needs red, black, yellow, blue/white, and all of the speaker wires connected to the proper HU wires.

Red, black, yellow will power the radio and turn it on/off with the car.

Blue/white will allow radio to trigger on the stock amp.

Speaker wires allow you to hear music.

HU dimmer wire needs to be connected to gray/black wire at TC/AH button on dash.

I advise caution. It appears this radio is marketed as plug and play. I suggest you contact the seller for help before cutting any wires.

Here is the radio on Amazon:

If you have the wiring diagram available for the new HU you can connect it with the interface adapter just like any other radio, but I'd work on making it work the way it's supposed to first.

Just to do a test on it, connect both red and yellow power wires to +12v and the black wire to ground, it should turn on. Of course that assumes there is a red wire, it may just use the serial data line to trigger on if it's made specifically for GM cars

If you can return it, I'd suggest a Kenwood or Pioneer
