C6 Head unit install (from BOSE) tutorial?

If any of you know what to search for or point me in the right direction I would be extremely greatful!

Best console removal instructions are HERE, click on Step 1 for C6, just ignore the shifter specific info. Once you have the plastic center dash off all you need to do is unscrew the HVAC and stock radio. When reinstalling new HU and HVAC make sure to put screws in almost tight on both, then push up towards AC vents with HVAC module before tightening screws down or you may have issues with the ash tray binding.
Once old radio is removed just follow BOSE instructions for the interface adapter that you have (even if your car is non-Bose, follow the Bose instructions), with a few exceptions based on what adapter you have....
Connect HU orange dimmer wire to gray/black wire under TC/AH button.
If you're installing a reverse camera, post 2 of this thread shows where to find reverse trigger in the fuse box area.
Make sure you connect HU blue/white trigger wire to interface adapter or you won't hear squat when you turn it on.
Post here if you have any questions

I'll let you know how it goes once I get some time to install it. I can't wait to get rid of the very dated stock Bose unit.
PAC RP3-GM11
Metra 95-3304 Double DIN Installation Kit
Infinity Basslink
Pioneer AVH-X4800BS
Keep Factory Bose speakers. No Onstar system, no Steering Wheel controls on my 2006 Z06. Bought it a few weeks ago!
Any comments?

Didn't realize Dennis has a thread on exactly what i needed, on page 2. Don't know how I missed it, I must be getting old.
Actual Head unit install is fairly simple, it's taking the console apart with all the connectors that is a bit of a pain. Just take your time.
New Head unit is AWESOME! You don't realize how prehistoric the stock GM unit is until you replace it. (perhaps I was in denial, should have done this years ago!!) Sound is better, even with stock speakers. I wanted an updated look, with Bluetooth, USB, etc and the Kenwood works great. Still have to play with all the settings, but did the basics, (Bluetooth pairing, USB, etc. pretty easy to figure out although there's TONS of settings so it will take time to get it perfect I guess.
I want to thank Dennis from Double D Mods! I called him a few times and ALWAYS helpful (and patient!) I have always read only good things about Dennis on this forum so I knew when it came time to do something about my sound system I would go to him. A good company is about more than selling good equipment, the customer service is equally important. I highly recommend him to anyone!
