Thanks, Justin
RF amps ... heard a lot of bad things about them. Never used one.
JL makes great amps
so does Us Acoustics

JL makes some very nice amps also, clean and reliable, they, like the RF will be expensive.
I wouldn't consider the MTX.
As for looks, it is up to you what you consider to be attractive.
I would stick to either JL or RF for performance though.
Also, what Ohm voice coil(s) does the sub have? That will play a big part in what amp to choose.
Good luck.
do you think that I should go with a 750 watt rms amp?????
What about the US acoustics vs the Profile clarus vs jl vs RF
What about a RF 1000BD 1000w mono amp???

HOWEVER, I AM A MMATS FAN. MMATS PROFESSIONAL AUDIO WILL DO IT! CHECK IT OUT. I RAN 3 OF THESE AMPS IN MY 98 COUPE. VERY POWERFUL AND CLEANS AMPS. CHECK MY WEB FOR THE INSTALL. HERES A LINK:http://www.mmatsproaudio.com/

The RF bd1000 will absolutely pound that sub. It is underrated at 1000 watts but will produce at least 1400. I have seen bd1000's birth sheet at 1700 watts max @ 2-Ohm and actually meter 1500 watts RMS @ 2-Ohm. But that's RF for you and why they are so well known for being such powerful amps.
MMATS also has some great amps, even more expensive but nice. I considered using MMATS but decided on RF for the raw power.
I plan on using a bd1000 in my C5 to power an IDMAX. I still may consider a MMATS DHC1400.1 though.
Stick with a 2-Ohm mono load with your sub, that dual 2-Ohm wired series/parallel would do it for you. Those amps won't handle lower. Except for the MMATS D series mono’s, which will handle 1-Ohm, VERY nice amps but it, will cost a LOT more.
For the money, it's RF or JL. You will get more power from RF though.
It's all up to how much you are willing to spend.
