C5 corner sub box

( I am about to go into some real basic stuff, so don't get insulted. People with good sense should probably skip reading it anyway, for humanity's sake. )
Boxes are probably among the easiest construction project going. Birdhouses are free saturday kiddie projects at home depot , and they might be a more complex build. That being said, I have never bothered with boxes on any car radio I have installed, I'm more of mounting plate speaker adapter guy. But if you want boxes , just trying to help with some audio guide lines as I understand them.
There are published tables available to tell you the enclosure size needed according to the free air resonate frequency of the driver. ( the frequency at which the driver will start to resonate in sympathy with the audio tone. Most manufacturers can provide this information. ) By addressing that boost in resonance, the speaker will play in every frequency at the same volume, avoiding an audible boost whenever the music crosses that audio spectrum. If you actually can hear this in the acoustics of your car system is a very valid consideration.
Boxes are pretty easy to build , but buying is certainly easier. If you want corner boxes, the audiophile would make sure the speaker was correctly sized for the box, since size is the primary concern mentioned . The conventional approach is to select the best driver one can manage, and then build an acoustic enclosure off of what the speaker needs. In this case, the box comes first, the speaker is then matched up. You just need the area inside the box, with can be increased with sound insulation. Again, there are published tables. Hopefully by now there are also tables for car audio that will be helpful .
As you might have gathered by now, audiophiles look into the small details, as the sound is limited by the weakest link in the audio chain. For instance an audiophile would never buy a driver with printing on the cone, the weight of the print advertising unbalances the cone, so it could never be driven without added distortion. But it is crazy to worry about that stuff in a car, too much other acoustic noise to hear that kind of stuff. Still, it is good to know the basics before you start exploring with money. I am talking system and acoustic understandings as a base. Not silly stuff like printing on the cone or any kind of cool decorations as a buying guide.
It's all for fun anyway, some want classical music accuracy ,others want a more attractive pop sound, some just want thump. All the best wishes with the new sound. I trust you are aware of the C5 power limits , you might have read, like myself, some of the angry engineers posting among the many crash and burn stories of guys who tried asking too much of a cost controlled modern design. A lot of money down the drain because they didn't get the picture in time.
