I have a 2013 C6 convertible with Bose speakers and I want to keep my factory head unit but upgrade the door speakers in the speakers behind the seats.
What do you guys recommend for speakers without adding amps or new head unit?
You're very limited on the improvement you'll get from just replacing the speakers.
For the doors, any 2-way 4ohm 3.5" speaker will help with better highs, but volume will be the same.
IMO, rears aren't really worth it since the Bose amp/processor messes with the sound so much, but again you can drop in a 4ohm 5.25" set without issues.

I have the non Bose system. I installed Polk Audio DB series speakers in mine. They have a high sensitivity to help squeeze a little more volume out of your factory amp.

Speakers in the rear are mono and you will see very little improvement. I replaced all the speakers in my last c6 and kept the head unit. I was very disappointed.
Assuming you're going to keep it a while you may as well bite the bullet and put an amp or 2 in if you really want an improvement. I put Infinity Kappas in the back of my vert with an Alpine amp driving them and they sound great.
