joying head unit in a C5
Hi guys im thinking about putting a android HU in my 01 Z06. I know they have new mode just released im just not sure what one would be right for a C5. I would really like to have a **** instead of all touchscreen controls. Anyone have any experience with the new 6.0 models?

I have the older unit. They are slightly larger than a standard size DIN and a stock type bezel doesn't work out well. I ended going with a Merta bezel and widening the DIN opening a little. The Metra has the HVAC relocated to a lower position and has a cubby in the place of the ashtray. The cup holder is kind of odd too. I am in the process of trying to retrofit the stock cup holder to it.
I wish there were other bezel options but I have yet to see one.

I am a huge fan of the head unit. I am not sure tat Denis shares my opinion. It is a fairly new concept.
Dennis is one of the best in the business no doubt. I respect his advice and he has the best, hands down customer service.
What I like about android head units is that they bring an old car up to date and you can download any app. I have a C5 corvette and the android bring the car into the modern era.
I am not sure that Dennis shares my opinion on the validity of the android.
