FM reception to crap after update

FM reception to crap after update
So I had the C7 in for a head unit update this week and now the FM reception is crap. Local stations fade as it they're 60 miles away. Could the software update do this??? The antenna is obviously connected as I do get signal, but boy it sure is bad. I guess I'll take it back in next week

The stock unit in a 2016. It had the original firmware and Apple Car play was buggy and the whole unit was unresponsive for about 3 minutes after a gas stop the day I bought it (used). So they updated the software, but then my FM reception really took a dive. It goes back to the dealer tomorrow, so we'll see what they say.
