Default Valentine V1 and C5 Windshield

Hello Friends - I am a new member here and am considering the Valentine V1 detector. Does anyone know if the stock C5 windshield (with HUD reflective capability) will interfere with the signal detection? Thanks!

I've had a V1 on my C5 for years with HUD and never had a problem.
Get one of the custom mounts and a the mirror tap for the power and your ready to go.

Hello and Thanks! I appreciate your info very much. I will be getting the BlendMount kit and the wiring kit (which comes with the V1 as you know). Should be a solid set up. Did you have any trouble removing the passenger side A pillar trim? I am somewhat hesitant...would hate to damage it. Thanks again.

I used this
https://blendmount.com/mirrortap.html

Much easier and simple, just plug and play.

I used the same type setup for my V1 on my C6 with hud. You will NOT be disappointed.
