C5 DD install question
I have placed an order for one of Vettenuts DD bezels for my C5.
I have a question regarding the upcoming install.
I know that I have to remove the existing "shelf' to clear space for the DD Pioneer I have to install. But how do I determine just where to locate the new brackets for the new DD head unit so that it will line up with the new DD bezel?

Jim i was about to answer your email then saw this so decided to answer here so maybe anyone else with the same question can see it as well.
With our Double Din Bezel the relocation of the HVAC controller is not necessary. We were able to move the head unit up but you do need the remove the existing shelf. To align your head unit you will have to wait to get the bezel unfortunately. You will need to get it centered and then secure the brackets to the frame and head unit. Hope this helps.
Also we will be doing complete how to instructions coming up very soon.
