C6Z Audio Upgrade Review (Sundown, Alpine, Chromecast)
Upgraded my audio in the Z and thought i'd post up a quick review in case it would help anyone
Headunit: Pioneer Appradio 4 (SPH DA120)
Front Door: Sundown Audio SA 6.5CS v.2 components
Rear: Sundown Audio SA 5.25CX coaxials
Sub Box: Atrend AFG-112CORV (D)
Sub: Alpine SWS-10D2
Amp: PDX-V9
Backup Camera
+ Chromecast via HDMI
I'm by no means a pro so everything is just my point of view. I've had Focals, Alpine, Image Dynamics and they all sounded great but so after trying Sundown i'm very pleased. Comparatively to what i was looking at in focal and alpine, the Sundown were cheaper and sound insane -- i can't crank them up all the way because they get too loud (need to test with earplugs) but at about 40% they are super crisp and clear.
I'd say huge improvement over the Bose. New fan of this brand especially since it's made in USA.
