I just want to add an inexpensive sub to my otherwise stock Bose stereo with the 12 disk changer in the rear.
Whet should I get, and how (where) do you get to the wiring?

You will need this:
This hooks to the speaker leads of your stereo and provides RCA preamp-level outputs for your amp.
It works perfectly to just buy rca cables and snip off the male ends on one side and attach it to a self slpicer on the pre amp wires. You will need about 20' (about 17 exact) rca cables. You crimp on a female end to it and that slips right over the self splicer which is a little clip on thing on the wire (pep boys or home depot 99cents). Attach that to the preamp wires which you can find on 99HT's post which is a MUST for all installs using factory head unit.
If ya have any more questions, feel free to drop me a line. TTYL and good luck.
