I just blew a door speaker. It is a JL C2-650CW. I have no idea how this happened since it is only 2 years old and I don't crank it up real loud. I can't decide if I want to just replace the blown speaker or upgrade them. Does anyone have any input on the C5-650's or any other recommendations? I really don't want to go much over $500. In case anyone is wondering, I am running a Kenwood DDX9902s head unit, Kenwood X801-5 amp, JL C2-650 (doors) TR525 coax (rears) and a 10" JL sub. Oh yeah, this is in a C6 too.
