Remove brand name from Head Unit
After market head units have the company name (Sony, Kenwood, Pioneer etc.) on them. Anybody have a method to remove the name from the plastic bezel?
Remove SONY from lower plastic surround.

It all depends on how it is actually applied. If it is molded into the bezel, you can shave it off with some sandpaper and then use progressively finer sandpapers to polish until you match the factory plastic. If it is just screen printed on, you can usually get it off with some polishing compound and patience.

I just have to ask why ? You should be proud of a good quality aftermarket system, I know I am.

Me, too. Nowadays, you even see brand names like Sony, Bose, JBL, etc.. on vehicles right from the factory. I don't think it deters from the looks at all. As a matter of fact, that Sony piece in particular looks awesome. I love the matte understated finish. It blends so well in so many vehicles.
