2013 Nav disc update

Does anyone know if the update disc for 2016 ver. 10 will work on 2013 Nav units? When using the "will this part work on you car" matrix on various Ebay seller's sites, the message "Will not work on this car" appears. I can't figure out why it will work on a 2012, but not a 2013.

I bought the 2016 Nav disc from a popular auction site for my 2012 GS and it worked fine. We also tried it in a friend's 06 Z06 and it worked fine there too.

Thanks for your answer, but your information does not exactly answer my question. According to the applicability charts on the auction site, it appears that the 2016 disc is backward compatible to 2012 and before, but does not appear to be compatible with the 2013 unit. I am trying to confirm that this is true and determine the reason for the disparity.

2012 and 2013 are the same unit. I have a #10 version in my 2012 with no issue.
