Tesla style Touch Screen
As well all know the C6 interior is pretty plan, Has anyone consider or checked if it is possible to intall a 10 in tesla style touch screen that includes radio, nav, cameras front and rear, and A/C and Heat controls, I have seen this is a new thing people are doing in many cars wondering in anyone has attempted or looked into it for a C6 or any other corvette for that matter, I'm just starting to consider/ look into it.

I'd just suggest getting a good aftermarket system that'll fit in your dash, I think it would look much better than something hanging from your dash.

You could do that but would be a lot of trouble, so if you're up for it, fill your boots I guess? For a bigger screen you could probably built a custom tablet mount, and for that sort of stuff, Google is your friend. The climate controls and heated seats would technically be possible, but you'd need to wire each function into some sort of custom control module. The climate control is going to be a mess because along with signal inputs you'd still need actuators for the hot/cold air mix and vent positions. Probably the easiest way to do this would be to get an Android head unit, which will have good touch interface, flexible infotainment and connectivity options, visual customization, and then leave everything else alone because it works.
Have you seen the back end of what's in a Tesla? It's more than a screen, it's a computer running a Linux based system on a custom board with an Intel Atom chip. The Model 3 is even liquid cooled with the battery/motor coolant.

There's a decent number of these made by Chinese companies for various vehicles. That said, they don't make them for the C6. You could buy one of the universal ones, but it would cover your ac vents and or hvac controls.
That said, I tried the joying 10" unit in my. TBSS. It was OK, the screen was great but the implementation was lackluster. There was no useful info on how to integrate steering wheel controls from a data system like GM uses (they natively work with old school resistive controls)..i hate how volume was handled, without any buttons or working steering wheel controls.
I ended up going with a high end kenwood and have nothing bad to say about it.

I think this will be a totally custom solution though as I do not believe there is anything currently on the market to replace/control the HVAC controls or the heated seats. I have seen some YouTube videos of a dash being modified to accept an iPad to be used as the main entertainment system interface but I'm pretty sure this involves using a small selection of head units that are able to be mounted remotely. Check out Soundman on YouTube if you're really interested, but be forewarned, his language and antics are not for everyone.
Anything can be done with enough time and money. I believe what you are asking for would be extremely cool but would require significant research and development (i.e. time AND money). I also don't know how marketable your investment would be. If it was only for yourself, and you were willing to invest the time and money to conduct the research and development, that's one thing, but I don't see this as something everyone would be knocking your door down to purchase, considering that many are not willing to change their old Nav system for a new Nav capable head unit due to "looks".
Please keep us informed though. I for one would be very interested to hear what you found or developed.

I have been working with a company to produce this product for C5 and C6, since middle of 2022. This is the first beta-test production unit for C6, which is being done first. HVAC and steering wheel controls are integrated. This will be released under my brand/youtube channel KnightDriveTV (I make a bunch of C5 sleepy eye kits and have sold to 22+ countries so far). It's coming soon

Its hilarious to read older posts as they progress.
sometimes people are right until tech catches up but its funny how some give opinion but nothing to back it up.
whats the status on this unit ?
