C6 amp install in footwell
I'm looking to add a small amp where the Bose amp is in the passenger foot well, then feeding it with the factory nav, so need to tap the head unit output. The C6 audio FAQs say to tap the line outs from the head unit harness, but I am wondering if there's any reason I can't tap the same feeds further down the harness at the Bose amp end, so can I just cut the wires at that point and solder on RCAs? I did something similar in my G35 and it worked great, clean signal with no noise. Since the PAC ADD-GM24 harness is no longer available, the only other harness option would be to get a PAC AOEM-GM24 and cut it up, so may end up just cutting from the factory harness anyhow. I'm not worried about cutting wiring as long as done neatly.

The Pac AOEM-24 should work without cutting. Take a look.
