I've had jl and vettenuts. I sold the jl and currently have the vettenuts for sale. Both sound good. I personally am used to more bass, so I'm going back to a ported box with dual 12tw1.
Next year going to try and put 2 of them in..I think its the best solution to keeping most of the trunk space..and they look like they came with the car.
Make that ...now..going to start with one and see how it goes. Going with the JL sub
I would love one of these, but they wont fit with my 10w6. Thought about just putting an MDF ring to add some mounting depth, but am guessing the internal volume was more optimized for the W3.
Im guessing its essentially their own replica of the JL Stealthbox which was designed around the W3 (so makes sense that they said it was designed for the W3 too). Wish JL sold empty sub boxes, but they dont in order to deter people from putting in a sub that it wasnt designed for (someone like me that is who would love to shoehorn his W6 in haha).
Which company makes both a right and left box? It seems that some make the right, and others the left.
Also, does anyone make them without carpet on them?
