Default C5 2000 bose - does not operate, shows red light

Hello,
my C5 2000 battery died. I restarted the car and now I have a switched off radio. The light besides the volume control **** is red. The unit is off (no back light). It does not indicate loc or anything else on the screen. I don't think the code was entered, but it might be. Nothing happen when I press the buttons.
anyone know what to do?
thank you in advance.

Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes then reconnect it. And if you already haven't done so, I'd suggest replacing your battery.

If your battery just died for no apparent reason, perhaps it's time to find a replacement, but to know for sure its "state of health", I suggest you fully charge it and then have load-tested. Most auto part stores will test it for free.

Isn't there an unlocking sequence after power dies. I had to do it.
