Radio Gurus...........
I would like your opinion on getting a receiver for my C5.
I want one that the 6.5" or 7" screen comes out and then up and has am/fm,dvd,cd
It does not have to be touchscreen but that would be cool and it does not have to have XMS? radio.
What is out there and how much?
Am I going to need amps etc. or will my Bose speakers etc. be okay for now

Alpine has a few units that match what you are looking for. The Alpine IVA-C801 has a 6.5" flip out screen from a DIN size unit. It has a built in CD player also with two A/V inputs and outputs to hook up a DVD/CD changer if you like. There is also the CVA-1006 and CVA-1003 each with 6.5" flip out screens as well.
Oh and yes, you will want to get new amp(s) and speakers too. If you are going to the expense of a nice HU and multimedia setup why would you want to listen to it on those inferior Blose speakers? That would be kind of like buying a brand new Z06 and finding a 4 cylinder under the hood. :eek:

You really want a complete system redo if you are going to do DVD. Check some of the sites for prices on setups. Alpine is one of the best but it is pricey. http://www.sounddomain.com http://www.thezeb.com http://www.mmxpress.com http://www.pricegrabber.com to name a few.
