Default Engine Harness / Heat Shielding

It seems most of this page is Audio related. I have a bit different goal in mind right now related to wiring.

I am about to redo my engine bay harnesses. Some have been abused in the past, burned, cracked, wire shielding almost melted away, etc. I believe one of the prior owners simply did not route anything away from the headers when they were installed. I am going to rectify this.

What Products can I use which would be better than factory in heat resistance?

For the harness sections on top of the engine, what will meet the heat shielding need and ALSO have a cleaner look than that corrugated plastic and cheap mesh used by GM? In this case my eye is on appearance AND function because my setup will no longer run fuel rail covers where I used to be able to hide a lot of sin.

If I can get pointed in a direction, I'll get right to work.

Thanks. Yeah, I have some of their heat gear and did opt for their wiring master kit. For the high heat areas I still need to measure and then order some of the silicone / fiber glass sheaths.
