You "pull the carpet" away from the speaker. Seriously, nothing holds it in there.
Then there's 4 bolts holding the bose enclosure down, undo that, drop new spekaer in, and you'r ein like flint
mid america speakers tho :nonod:

Installation procedure :yesnod:
Mid America speakers :nono:
If you had decided to stay with the bose, you could have gotten them much cheaper from Dr. Don or RadioJoe.
You were also half way to a real system. When the other two blow up in a year or two because they are 20 year old pieces of paper, you will complete the cost of what a new system would have cost. :nopity
the bose units come right out after you "pull the carpet" out of the way.
they are held by a little clip, undo the clip, put hte new one in
very very easy

You simply take off the speaker grill (held down by four screws) then pull the carpet back. Then remove the four screws that hold the Blose pod down and take it out. Unplug it at the harness; plug it into the new pod and reverse procedure to install the new pod, literally a 5-minute job.
The front door speaker pods on the other hand are quite a bit more entailed. I read in another post that you replaced your door pods already, this will be a cakewalk for you. :yesnod:
