Re: Changing bose speakers (oldace84)
If you're replacing it with just another Bose speaker then don't expect good sound. A Bose is a Bose, they just don't sound good. Instead try to enjoy it for what it is. ;)

oldace - your dilemma is why I recommend to anyone that will listen that they spend the $300-800 up front (depending on what you get) to replace the whole darn Bose system instead of replacing/fixing failed Bose parts. It'll nickel and dime you to death and you'll wish you just spent the money and were done with it. For those that don't want anything better than the Bose and have not had breakdowns, no disrespect intended. I enjoy driving my car a whole lot more with the tunes cranked and crystal clear and the Bose just couldn't do that.
