Avh-2550nex ?
I am looking at getting a head unit installed and the above mentioned Pioneer is one of the ones that has the features I want. If anyone has this one or know anything about it please let me know your opinions. There is also a DDX 8905s available but it’s double the price of the Pioneer and I really don’t see much difference.
I have a 08 coupe that this will be going in.

I have the DMH-C2550NEX installed in mine, which is basically the same head unit minus the CD/DVD drive or what they call mechless. I love the unit. Works well and looks good in the car. I was debating between the two units when I was looking and decided that I don't use CDs much anymore and that most of my music was on my phone anyway so went the mechless route.
The other unit you mention is a Kenwood I believe. Kenwood is nice gear as well, and I did look at some of their equipment but ultimately didn't like the user interface of the unit and much preferred the Pioneer interface.
I think you will be happy with the Pioneer unit.
