I'm going to be installing a mini amp (600W Kenwood M3004) in place of the factory Bose amp and run it to new speakers. The fuse on board of the amp is a 30A. Is there somewhere at the fuse block that I could tap into for power, or am I forced to run a new power wire from the back battery?

You want to come directly off the battery with the positive wire and be sure to install a fuse close to the battery. As far as the ground, you want to ground it to the chassis as close to the amp as possible, preferably less than 2 feet away. You also need to use the correct size wire which from the owners manual for the amp looks like AWG 10 or larger. From the owners manual of the amp.
• Take the battery wire for this unit directly from the battery. If it’s connected to the vehicle’s wiring harness, it can cause blown fuses etc.
• Be sure to install a protective fuse in the power cord near the battery. The protective fuse should be the same capacity as the unit’s fuse capacity or somewhat larger
• For the power cord and ground, use a vehicle type (fireproof ) power wring cord.
(Use a power wiring cord with the range of 5 mm2 (AWG 10) or more.)
Thanks for this info. I can run a decent wire from the back battery to the new amp. I intend to install the new amp in the place of the old Bose as it will fit there perfectly. Is there a good ground connection at that spot somewhere? It is right next to the fuse box but I can't see anything obvious.

The factory amplifier has a 30A circuit right there.

Interesting. Appears that the fuse is in the engine compartment, not the passenger footwell. I suppose I now need to find which wires from the harness are the power/ground/remote turnon? I may end up running proper wiring directly from the battery, but in the meantime this could be a great solution.

Notice the different pin assignments for Bose (U65) and non-Bose (U66) systems.
It's not obvious from the chart which pin is the Bose power ground, but there has to be one. An examination of the innards of the factory amplifier should clear that up.
