C6Z Bose Amp
Question - anyone have one of these start to fail and make a high pitch whine noise? It’s reproducing the noise from the alternator as rpm increases.
Curious if this means it’s dying and I blew a filter or something in it.
Figure this is a good spot to ask! If I mute the system it goes away so it’s definitely from the amp.

Happens from time to time. GLI inside the amp gets unhappy and you hear whining from the amp. The other thing it COULD be is dirty terminals/connection on the hot cable (pos bat terminal) or ground.

Ya man that’s why I was curious about your wiring setup. I’ve cleaned all the connections and all are golden but still running all factory wiring. It’s getting louder which makes me think it’s internal to the amp. If it was always there and always the same level then I’d say it’s a basic noise issue.
