Default C6 Grounding Location for Head Unit

Recently completed installation of a Kenwood DMX 4707S head unit in my C6Z. Works fine other than interference/static through the speakers, as well as noise that changes frequency with engine speed.

Before I take the dash apart again, I was hoping someone could point me to the best place to ground to the chassis. The plan is to move the existing ground wire to ground on the chassis. Any guidance or pics would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

I know a lot of people have used the same interface using the ground on the interface without any problems, others have gotten bad interfaces that caused issues. I suggest contacting whoever you bought the interface from and tell them the issues you're having with it. Perhaps you just got a bad one.

I'm assuming you're still using the stock amp and speakers correct ? And that you plugged in to the amplified audio output connection on the interface correct ?

Correct. Thank you for the feedback. I'm going to try grounding to the chassis first before contacting the vendor. A friend of mine with an identical car bought the same setup at the same time I did and we both have this issue. If the issue persists I'll swap out the interface.
