Question regarding rear speakers c5
Hey guys I have a 99 c5 that I am eliminating the factory stuff from. I have a single din head unit and have ordered new door (6 3/4) as well as new (6.5) for the rears. Will do a small sub down the road. I have done alot of research and see that the doors have their own amp that will be eliminated once I remove them. I also learned about the processor that runs rhe front door speakers
My question is this, do the rear speakers run off the factory head unit or does it go through the processor as well? ive read conflicting information.
I will be running new wire from the single din to the new door speakers and was going to run new wire to the new rear speakers. But if they are powered directly from the factory head unit, that will save me some time from running new wire to the rears. If that's the case, can someone help me with the factory wire colors for the rear speakers? Thanks for any help guys
