I need some information on upgrading my radio and speakers. This is really about speaker location. I plan on putting 8 inch or 6x9's with enclosures in the upper corners of the storage area behind the seats. In between them, an amplifier and subwoofer.
But how about the front speakers? What size and type (tweeter, mid) should I us?. I've seen people use a tweeter and a 4 inch on each side of the dash and a 6 inch in the kick panel. Others have stated to stay out of the kick panel for some reason, knowing that GM originally put a speaker in that location.
