Well now that I've driven with it - it has improved bass.
slightly bigger enclosure, different location.
As far as the uncooled amps?
The Soundstream was hot to the touch. Couldn't stand to keep my hand on it longer than a moment.
The ARC was as cool as any other interior surface. Man, I need another one of these!

LAtely they've been pretty loud... just about as loud as my IDQ10. They certainly hit LOW

With some inconspicuously placed vent ports and some fans you should be ok with the cooling. You have plenty of room in that box for components. :steering:
