Default Twiddler upgrade

I am thinking this has been beat to death am wanting to upgrade front twiddlers and the rear speaksers on C5 Z. I have done a lot of searching, but have not found what i m looking for yet.
I know they are 3.5 and 5.25 respectivley, but am looking for a good quality speakers, some of the posts I found suggest jl c2 350x and c2 525x, the 350 aren t available any more..
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
TIA

I've had good experience with infinity speakers. Also heard good things about the Kicker and Hertz brands. I suggest finding a local shop so you can sample some of these.

ok.. my local audio guy has the C2 525x, but he says he is sure the C5 rears are 1 ohm and the JL c2 will blow me out of the car,,
not sure.. any searching I have done on the bose rear ohms is all over the place, some say 1 some 1.5 some 2.
So am asking the audio gurus here to educate me please.

TIA

Find another audio guy. Rears are 4 ohm. And if they were 1 ohm, going with a higher impedance speaker will mean less power out of the amp and really not blow you out of the car.

Well I went with Jl c2 350x in the front and c2525x in the back, piece of cake replacing twiddlers, The back was pretty simple also until... the c2 525 wouldn t fit poperly. The magnet is a little bigger then the bose and is too deep to go in the speaker box properly, so instead of taking the dremel and cutting up the box, I installed the speakers with a shim between the mounting bracket and the speaker box, installed the screws and secured them down, they obviously are not flush with box, but i m sure it won t matter and the trim piece will re install just fine. I did the research on these, and everything I read said they would fit easily. Well thats not quite true.. This is jus my experience. They are about 5/16 deeper than the bose and that makes the difference. I could have maybe returned them and went with another brand that was a little thinner, but wanted to keep fronts and backs the same, prob would not matter anyways. just my thoughts.
And is a huuuuge improvement over the over rated Bose system. Updated head unit cp yrs ago to Kenwood DMX9005S Echelon..

Nice work. If you ever need to get back in the rears, use the thick foam tape so it fills in the gaps.
