I have a few threads here about my dissatisfaction with the sounds in my car. Changed head unit and speakers and still not happy so I am going to go down the amp road next and throw out the Bose. Has anyone had any experience with the Kicker 47Key 200.4https://www.crutchfield.com/p_20647K...7KEY200-4.html ? DO any of these things with the auto type set up work or is it just another snake oil. Or any recommendations for a mini amp, 45-50RMS, 4 channel in the $200 range? I don't want or need big power, just something loud enough to drown out my singing along to the music!

Have you considered just adding a sub amp and a subwoofer, the addition of just some good bass can really liven things up.
I have but right now it appears that my issue is the ohm value of the Bose is not correct with the 4 ohms in the replacement speakers and I didn't think that just a sub would correct that tin can sound coming from my speakers unless I really turn up the volume. In my mind ( which is a scary place) I am picturing a mini amp, splicing into the wires coming out of the Bose going to my speakers that will let the new speakers play to their potential. I just really want to get this all layed out before I pull apart the center console again. I haven't broken any tabs yet but I am pushing my luck.
Kenwood DDX9703S, Forsgate P132 3 1/2 in the top of the doors, Kicker CSC67 6 3/4 lower doors and Kicker DSC50 5 1/2 behind the seats. But the Bose amp is still hooked up and that brings me to this point. Thx.

Well personally if it was me, instead of hacking up the wires from the stock amp, I’d run new wires from the new amp to the speakers, and I’d still add a subwoofer to give it that needed bass, but doing so you’d want a 5 channel amp instead.
It's a good amp. I'm assuming your door speakers will be hooked up in parallel. The bad thing about your situation is that the auto tune will be applied to your small 3" speakers the same way as your bigger 6" speakers. You really need 6 channels of amplification. I still don't think you'll get the bass you had from those 6". Did you ever add Dynamat or other material?
I did put dynamat throughout the entire rear compartment and inside the doors. I am not sold on that amp yet, just was curious. Also looking at an Alpine KTP445, among others. I will concede the issue of the 6's vs. the oem 10's in the doors. Might look into a powered sub that I can put behind the seat maybe. When I get inside the dash I will add a patch cord from the HU and put it into the cabin so I won't have to tear it apart again for a sub addition. THx for your input.
